Reid Riley - Multi faceted talent
Reid Riley attended Kent Innovation High School in Grand Rapids Michigan, A “new tech school” with group based learning as its focused. This allowed the students to create whatever they would like, as long as they show what they learned from the curriculum. This drew Reid into more creative routes such as short films, pseudo advertisements, and photography. Designing WWII posters for his history class, a film series about the stages of matter for his science class, and many other fun assignments. This drew attention from his instructors and they encouraged him to compete in a state filmmaking competition, SkillsUSA. Reid and his friend Dominic won 1st place in the state and went on to win 2nd at the national level.
After high school Reid was accepted into Columbia College Chicago for Film Production. This led him down the path of Production design, where he could combine all his skills in prop making, graphic design, fashion, and filmmaking. He graduated with a Cinema Art and Science Bachelors in 2021, and has been pursuing new projects and learning opportunities ever since.
